You have two options for your labiaplasty: the wedge technique and the edge technique.

The wedge technique produces extremely natural results because it preserves the labia edge. To perform this procedure, Dr. Reinblatt will excise a v-shaped wedge of tissue from each labial fold. She will then pull together the remaining tissue and stitch it closed.

The edge technique is also known as the trim method. This approach involves trimming the edge of the labia so that it's smaller and more symmetrical. For women who want to address darkened edges of the labia due to pregnancy or the aging process, this is an ideal option.
